About Fire It Forward
Fire It Forward started as an idea that came about after only blowning glass for a few short months. I found this unique and exciting way of expressing creativity and being empowered all at the same time fascinating, and it quickly became a new passion. I was amazed as I realized just how diverse the glass arts were and my knowledge and experience grew. Just as other art forms and music have always inspired me, this new and fascinating outlet to create and share has sustained me through hard times and a pandemic. Art and creativity, has the power to create connections and break down barriers while exploring new ideas together.
Glass art is amazing science with light and imagery. The diversity of this media promotes the power of teamwork with new experiences and some very unique art techniques. The vision of Fire It Forward glass art program is to showcase a small-scaled version and quick glimpse into an endless world of glass art and the possibilities and spark some interest. After this, I challenge you to explore more. Seek out those local art museums, community and family enrichment programs, Veteran’s groups, and school outreach programs that bring people and art together. Find a way to contribute or harness your own interests and talents and as always Fire It Forward!
